KENO RULES

Friday, December 8th, 2006

Rules

You grab yourself a keno card, which has 80 different numbers, and pick out a bunch. Just circle them or mark them, usually up to fifteen and bring your card back to the keno clerk. The clerk will then record your numbers and issue you a receipt.

At this point you find the spot where winning numbers are displayed. Classically, the keno numbers were drawn from what’s known as a keno goose. So as you watch the numbers come up, you can mark them down on your card, much like bingo. At the end of the drawing, the number of matched numbers determines whether or not you’re a winner. The more numbers (or, more precisely, the greater percentage of your chosen numbers) that match, the more you win! If you have enough matches to claim a winning ticket (depends on how many you picked in the first place), its time to head back over to the keno clerk and let them pay you! If you are playing individual games, be sure to keep on top of things, because if you have a winning ticket on a game and you fail to get your butt to a keno clerk before the next game starts, your ticket is void and you cannot collect any winnings. This sucks, and the casinos understand this. That’s why they allow you to buy a large number of tickets using the same numbers. Usually this number is limited to twenty games. After this ‘multi race’ ticket has lasted the 20 (or however many you choose) games, you can go to a keno clerk and have them check for winning games.
A third option exists for people who really don’t want to pay attention to the numbers being drawn. At many casinos you can buy a ’stray and play’ keno ticket which applies to the next ‘X’ number of games (’X’ is usually greater than 20, or whatever the maximum ‘multi-race’ game number is). The difference here is, you don’t have to show up after your 25 or 30 games have run through. You can come back any time. (more…)

JOKER’S WILD RULES

JOKER’S WILD rules

Jokers’ Wild
video poker is extremely popular because it moves fast and is easy to play, while retaining an element of strategy. The object of Jokers Wild video poker is to attain the highest ranked poker hand; using a joker as a wildcard (a joker can represent any card in the deck). The payout for each poker combination is displayed on the video poker machine face. Jokers’ Wild video poker uses a one deck shoe. The deck includes one joker and is re-shuffled after every hand. Five cards are dealt to you after you place the bet. Once the cards are dealt, you may choose to keep any of the cards by either clicking Hold, found directly below the card, or on the card. Once you have selected which cards to hold, click Deal and the remaining cards will be exchanged for new cards. After this second deal, you are paid out based on the rank of the resulting poker hand.
A winning hand pays out according to the number of coins wagered and their value.
Example: If you select the $1 coin and then Bet Max your wager will be five coins of $1 or $5. If you get a Straight Flush then according to the payout schedule below you will win 250 coins with the same value as your original bet or $250 (250 x $1).
Important Note: Your winnings do not accumulate as credits within our Table Games, Slots and Video Games. Each time you win, your winnings are deposited directly into your account balance, so you do not have to hit Cash Out when you want to leave the game - your winnings have already been placed in your account.

EUROPEAN ROULETTE RULES

EUROPEAN ROULETTE Rules

European Roulette table has a spinning wheel with 37 slots or pockets. The pockets are numbered from 1 to 36 and coloured red or black except for a special “zero” pocket that is marked with green. Players make bets on outcomes of the round. The roulette wheel is then spun up and a ball is thrown into it against the direction of spinning. When the ball settles down and rests in a pocket, the number on the pocket that has caught the ball wins. All pockets are identical and the order and position of numbers are arranged mathematically for even distribution by value, colour, high or low and odd or even so that the ball has an equal chance to end up in any of them. CRAPS RULES

Craps Rules

The player must handle the dice with one hand only when throwing and the dice must hit the walls on the opposite end of the table. In the event that one or both dice are thrown off the table, they must be inspected (usually by the stickman) before putting them back into play. The craps table can accommodate up to about 20 players, who each get a round of throws or at ’shooting’ the dice. If you don’t want to throw the dice, you can bet on the thrower. Several types of bets can be made on the table action. The casino crew consist of a stickman, boxman and two dealers. The first roll of the dice in a betting round is called the Come Out roll - a new game in Craps begins with the Come Out roll. A Come Out roll can be made only when the previous shooter fails to make a winning roll, that is, fails to make the Point or seven out. A new game then begins with a new shooter. If the current shooter does make his Point, the dice are returned to him and he then begins the new Come Out roll. This is a continuation of that shooter’s roll, although technically, the Come Out roll identifies a new game about to begin. When the shooter fails to make his or her Point, the dice are then offered to the next player for a new Come Out roll and the game continues in the same manner. The new shooter will be the person directly next to the left of the previous shooter - so the game moves in a clockwise fashion around the craps table. The dice are rolled across the craps table layout. The layout is divided into three areas - two side areas separated by a center one. Each side area is the mirror reflection of the other and contains the following: Pass and Don’t Pass line bets, Come and Don’t Come bets, Odds bet, Place bets and Field bets. The center area is shared by both side areas and contains the Proposition bets. (more…)

The player antes, and is then dealt a five-card hand; the dealer is also dealt five cards of which only one is exposed. The player now either folds, losing his ante, or bets an additional amount equal to exactly twice the ante. The dealer then reveals his remaining four cards. If the dealer’s hand is not Ace-King or better, the player is paid even money on the ante and nothing (i.e., a push) on the bet. If the dealer’s hand is Ace-King or better it is said to “qualify” (for play against the player). In that case if the dealer’s hand is better than the player’s, the player’s ante and bet are collected by the house. If the dealer’s qualifying hand is worse than the player’s hand, the player is paid even money on the ante and an amount on the bet according to the player’s hand as follows:
AK or pair 1:1
two pair 2:1
three of a kind 3:1
straight 4:1
flush 5:1
full house 7:1
four of a kind 20:1

BLACK JACK RULES

Friday, December 8th, 2006

Rules

The object of the blackjack game is to accumulate cards with point totals as close to 21 without going over 21. Face cards (Jacks, Queens and Kings) are worth 10 points. Aces are worth 1 or 11, whichever is preferable. Other cards are represented by their number. If player and the House tie, it is a push and no one wins. Ace and 10 (Blackjack) on the first two cards dealt is an automatic player win at 1.5 to 1, unless the house ties. A player may stand at any time.
To win you need to beat the dealer without busting. You bust when your cards total to more than 21 and you lose automatically. The winner is whoever has closest to a total of 21. You reach 21 by adding up the values of the cards. The blackjack table seats about 6 players. Either six or eight decks of cards are used and are shuffled together by the dealer and placed in a card dispensing box called ‘Shoe’. Before receiving any cards players must place a wager. Then the players are dealt two cards face up. The dealer gets one face up, one face down. Each player in turn either stays or takes more cards to try and get closer to 21 without busting. Players who do not bust wait for the dealer’s turn. When all the players are done, the dealer turns up the down card. By rule, on counts of 17 or higher the dealer must stay; on counts of 16 or lower the dealer must draw. (more…)

BACCARAT RULES

Friday, December 8th, 2006

Rules

Baccarat is played from a six-deck or an eight-deck shoe. All face cards and 10s have no value. Cards less than 10 are counted at face value, Aces are worth 1. Suits don’t matter. Only single digit values are valid. Any count that reaches a double digit drops the left digit. 15 is counted as 5 and 25 is also counted as 5. To start, the players bet either on Banco or Punto or Standoff. The card dealer gives two cards each; first to the player and then the banker. The object of the game is to bet on the hand that you think will have the highest total value. A third card may be dealt to either or both the player (Punto) and the bank (Banco) based on the following three-card-rules. It is not necessary to learn these rules to play, they are compulsory decisions and therefore automatic. Only on rare occasions a mistake is made:
Player’s third-card-rule
• If either the player or the bank have a total of 8 or 9 on the first two cards no further cards are drawn. The resulting hand is called a natural and the hand is over.
• If the player’s total is less than or equal to 5 the player’s hand draws a third card.
• If the player does not draw a third card, then the bank’s hand stands on 6 or more and takes a third card on a total of 5 or less. If the player does take a third card then the Bank’s third-card-rule below will determine if the bank takes a third card.
Bank’s third-card-rule
• If the bank’s total is 2 or less then bank draws a card, regardless of what the players third card is.
• If the banks total is 3 then the bank draws a third card unless the players third card was an 8.
• If the banks total is 4 then the bank draws a third card unless the players third card was a 0, 1, 8, or 9.
• If the banks total is 5 then the bank draws a third card if the players third card was 4, 5, 6, or 7.
• If the banks total is 6 then the bank draws a third card if the players third card was a 6 or 7.
• If the banks total is 7 then the bank stands.
